Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Reservations: All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total tour cost. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the tour begins. For reservations made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods. All payments should be made in USD unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be submitted in writing and take effect upon receipt by Yola Excursions. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • Cancellations 21 days or more before the tour start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the tour start date: No refund. No refunds will be provided for unused services or missed portions of the tour.

4. Amendments: Requests for changes to confirmed bookings must be submitted in writing. Yola Excursions will make every effort to accommodate these requests, but changes cannot be guaranteed. Any additional costs incurred as a result of amendments are the client’s responsibility.

5. Travel Insurance: All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, personal accidents, baggage, and emergency evacuation. Yola Excursions is not liable for any costs incurred due to insufficient or missing insurance coverage.

6. Health and Safety: Clients must disclose any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are physically fit for the tour. Yola Excursions reserves the right to deny participation to any client deemed unfit for the tour.

7. Liability: Yola Excursions acts solely as an agent for various independent suppliers that provide accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, and other services related to your tour. While we strive to ensure that the tour runs as planned, Yola Excursions is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by these suppliers or from participation in any activities.

8. Force Majeure: Yola Excursions is not liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations resulting from acts of nature (e.g., fire, flood, earthquake), war, invasion, terrorism, labor disputes, strikes, or any other event beyond its control.

9. Complaints: Clients should immediately inform the relevant service provider (such as hotel or tour guide) if they encounter any issues, to allow for resolution. If unresolved, clients should contact Yola Excursions directly. Complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the tour’s conclusion.

10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts.

By making a booking with Yola Excursions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
