Mount Meru

Mount Meru, standing at 4,566 meters (14,979 feet), is Tanzania’s second-highest mountain. Often overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, Mount Kilimanjaro, it is frequently overlooked by visitors.

However, Mount Meru offers a spectacular trekking experience, with scenic hikes through grasslands and forests on its lower slopes, followed by a thrilling and dramatic ridge walk to the summit.
